UC500 Remote Error When Setting Up Sheild TV

Hello,
My UC500 is working fine for my Sony TV, Sony Receiver, TiVo and Oppo devices, however when I go to settings>Add Device>OTT/BT> Shield tv >Device Name>Select it says “Bluetooth device does not wake up or NAK” how do I make it connect to my Nvidia Shield?
When I first downloaded the database from your site the remote screen said something about Old bootloader, didn’t know what that meant or how to change to a new bootloader.
Other than that problem I like the device!
